Asocio ICT Education Award
year of 2019
iTrain was presented with the prestigious ASOCIO ICT Award for providing outstanding ICT Education. iTrain won the highly contested prize over other nominees in the Asia-Pacific region.
ASOCIO-PIKOM DIGITAL SUMMIT 2019, the annual summit which brings together experts and businesses across the tech industry, hosted a fascinating array of talks and workshops around Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Analytics, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Human Capital, and TechEntrepreneurship.
The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) is the most-time honored and active international ICT Trade Organization in Asia and Oceania. Its influence covers more than 10,000 ICT companies and its objective is to promote, encourage and foster trade and relationships among its international community.
Receiving the award this year marks iTrain’s continuous efforts to provide high-quality IT training solutions in various technology training products and certifications. Established and managed by experienced trainers, backed by government (MDEC) and academia, iTrain’s goal is to equip Malaysian companies with the latest technology applications and know-how to give them a leading, globally competitive edge.

Empowering CIMB Group's Workforce:
iTrain Asia and CIMB 3D Academy's Collaboration for Digital Talent Acceleration
CIMB Group is committed to transforming its workforce by enhancing their digital skills, and iTrain Asia has helped make this a reality with the CIMB Group 3D Academy. Launched in May 2018, the academy has allocated RM75 million over the next three years to train its 36,000 employees across all levels and categories with over 2 million training hours dedicated to developing 3D skills. The CIMB 3D Academy, an abbreviation for Digital, Data, and Disruption, aspires to build a tech-savvy, innovative, and agile workforce through its six-pillar competency framework. The 3D Academy offers a wide range of programs, including Digital Leadership Series, Design Thinking workshops, and Agile Project Management, which have been attended by over 700 participants. Since its inception, the 3D Academy has increased the digitalization project request to its Program Management Office (PMO) by 60%. With a robust and comprehensive training program, the CIMB Group 3D Academy is dedicated to driving the digital transformation of its workforce, and iTrain Asia is proud to be part of this initiative.

Asia Developer Academy graduates pioneer batch
he Asia Developer Academy (ADA), a collaboration between BAC Education Group and iTrain Sdn Bhd, celebrated the graduation of its first-ever Full Stack Web Developer batch on September 29, 2017, at Petaling Jaya. The program was designed to equip students with the necessary coding skills to develop web applications from scratch, resulting in the production of their own applications. The program attracted 13 students from diverse backgrounds, all with the aim of gaining a competitive edge in their careers and personal lives. ADA recognizes that most of its students have no prior experience in coding, which is why the academy recruited industry experts to provide practical training in development. ADA is committed to providing high-quality training and equipping individuals with the necessary skills to compete in the digital age.

to boost digital skills of Indonesian higher education teachers
iTrain, a leading digital technology training provider in Asia, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with APTIKOM (Asosiasi Pendidikan Tinggi Informatika dan Komputer), a national association of computer and informatics higher education institutions in Indonesia. The partnership aims to provide the Digital Talent Accelerator (DTA) solution to higher institute teachers across Indonesia.
